Building Control is within the Planning Division of the Neighbourhood Services directorate and is organised on an area basis.
An out of hours inspection service is available. The section is committed to providing a professional high quality efficient and cost effective service to all our customers. Also responsible for dangerous structures, street naming and numbering, house renovation grants and licensing.
